Lucy SuNew art exhibition by Lucy Su ran from 5th March to 4th April 2007. Commissioned by The State of the Art gallery. Inspiration & influences: Mediums used: Biography: This heady mixture of fashion and high bohemianism still informs her work to this day. Her paintings are often of young girls on the break of adulthood, tender, ambiguous and touched by mystery, with an often melancholic atmosphere that is unique to her singular vision. Lucy Su has worked as an artist and illustrator since leaving Brighton Art School. Clients have included The Sunday Times, The Independent, Elle Magazine, Walker Books and Frances Lioln. She is currently working on a series of paintings for The Teenage Cancer Trust written by author/illustrator Ian Beck.
